They fight (ironman2.sav and screenshot). You can still investigate the Rubricator archeological site on the destroyed planet and take it to it's conclusion with the spawning of the dragon Shard. When you use the Broken Gates archeological site to spawn the Eldritch Horror, it destroys all of the planets in the system but does not remove the Rubricator archeological site (ironman1.sav). I guess the reward for killing it is just not having to do that. Is this a bug Or have they changed it to give nothing If you feed it, it gives you a 6 research speed bonus. The goals were to make them have interesting and diverse abilities. As the title says, I killed the Horror but got no parade or loot/modifier/etc.
